FIELD & STEEL

FIELD & STEEL FIELD & STEEL FIELD & STEEL

Custom knives made in Yorkshire

Why choose a Field & Steel product?

"By choosing a Field & Steel knife you are not only supporting my family but helping to keep the heritage of Yorkshire cutley alive.

I believe customers should have a relationship with the maker, not just a "click buy" experience! Whether that be one of my bushcraft knives or a fully custom design, that takes a lot of communication. This is something you don't get when you buy from a larger company "

~Steve Armstrong

    How it began

"I guess I've always been a knife guy, for as long as I can remember anyway. I'm a tinkerer by nature which I get from my grandad, a knife and tool maker in the heart of the steel city of Sheffield. Growing up I spent countless hours at his side in his workshop. It wasn't until years later I decided to give knife making a go, I was hooked from that moment on ! "

    What the future holds

"Who can say what the future holds for Field & Steel but I have big plans for the years ahead!  I know I'll never be rich as a knife maker but it's the best job I ever had !

It's been an amazing journey so far and I am grateful to each and every one of my customers"
